The Ultimate Snowboarding Film on the Ultimate Disc Format
Extreme sports come in many flavors. But one of the more dangerous and thrilling sports to watch is snowboarding. And beyond the relative safety of the Olympics half pipe dwell the serious snowboard pros. They brave the elements and occasionally the TSA to seek out remote locations that have never tasted the wood, plastic and waxy bite of a board.

Amateur snowboarder and director Curt Morgan spent the past two years of his life working on The Art of Flight, the film that would bring snowboarding to the masses. He brought an elite team of snowboarding pros as well as some seriously talented helicopter pilots to such settings as Western Canada, Chile, the remote reaches of Alaska and even Patagonia in search of virgin snow, on which these artists made a permanent mark, etched in powder. Narrowly escaping death and serious injury (mostly), this team of elite athletes was captured on film at the peak of their skills, using cameras and techniques normally reserved for high budget documentaries.
To complement the cutting edge video, Curt teamed up with Dolby Labs to create a dynamic and bombastic 7.1 channel surround sound track that accentuates the on-screen action. The rush of the wind, the bite of the board, the banter of the boarders and the high octane musical selections combine to create an aural and visual assault, perfect for showing off your big screen TV or home theater system.
