At MacWorld in San Francisco yesterday, Apple CEO Steve Jobs unveiled the Macbook Air – a notebook computer just 3/4-inch thick with a full size backlit keyboard and a 13.3 inch widescreen display. Also announced: iTunes does online movie rentals.
Panasonic unveiled a pair of new Blu-ray Disc products at CES. The DMP-BD50 will be their first player to support BD-Live and to include on-board decoding of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD. The SC-BT100 is their first Home Theater in a Box system to include Blu-ray playback.
