Action evil genius Luc Besson cranks out another above-average stunt-fest, this time directed by master Hong Kong choreographer Corey Yuen and starring British import Jason Statham in the Bruce Willis role as the titular courier. The movie’s stupid, but it knows that and it doesn’t mind. If you don’t either, go see it.

The otherwise tight script by David Ayer features a few too many plot contrivances – particularly one involving a gang of Russians – which belittle stellar performances by Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke and strong direction by Antoine Fuqua.

A challenging and thoroughly engrossing film from director Steven Soderbergh which masterfully weaves a complicated tale about the war on drugs both at home and abroad.

Proving itself ‘The Godfather’ of animated films, this sequel actually improves on the original. The same wonderful characters are back with a new adventure more moving and original than most live action Hollywood fare.

God bless Mike Leigh for restoring faith in both Gilbert and Sullivan and the film biopic. This is everything ‘Man on the Moon’ is not.

If only I could go back in time to convince myself not to watch this ludicrous time travel yarn which ‘faxes’ a group of uninteresting characters back to the 1300s to screw up the space-time continuum.
